Collections

Overview

Collections let you organize emotes into reusable groups. Use them to curate themed sets, prepare imports, power rotations, or share favorites with others.

Creating a Collection

1. Go to Collections in your dashboard
2. Click Create Collection
3. Enter a name (up to 50 characters) and optional description
4. Click Create

Your new collection starts empty. You can add emotes from search results, imports, or by mirroring a 7TV set.

Adding Emotes

From Search

1. Search for emotes on the Import page
2. Click an emote card
3. Select Add to Collection instead of importing directly
4. Choose the target collection

From Server Emojis

1. Go to a server's emoji page
2. Select emojis you want to save
3. Add them to a collection

Mirror a 7TV Set

Automatically pull an entire 7TV emote set into a collection:

1. Open a collection
2. Click Mirror 7TV
3. Enter the 7TV set URL or ID
4. The collection populates with all emotes from that set

Managing Collection Emotes

Inside a collection, you can:

• Browse emotes with search and filtering
• Favorite individual emotes within the collection
• Remove emotes you no longer want
• Reorder emotes by dragging

Importing from a Collection

Collections make bulk imports easy:

1. Open a collection
2. Click Import to Server
3. Select the target server
4. Choose which emotes to import or import all
5. Confirm the import

The import runs through the operation queue, so you can track progress in real time.

Smart Select

Let Kao suggest emotes for your collection based on popularity and relevance:

1. Open a collection
2. Click Smart Select
3. Review the suggested emotes
4. Accept the ones you want

Exporting Collections

Export a collection for backup or sharing:

1. Open the collection
2. Click Export
3. Download the collection data

Using Collections with Other Features

Collections are the foundation for several advanced features:

• Rotations - Select a collection as the emote source for scheduled rotations
• Sync Groups - Use a collection as the source in collection-source sync mode
• Backups - Convert a server backup into a collection for reuse

Best Practices

Organization

• Create collections by theme (e.g., "Pepe Emotes", "Reaction Faces", "Stream Emotes")
• Use descriptions to note the collection's purpose
• Favorite your most-used emotes for quick access

Maintenance

• Remove outdated or unused emotes periodically
• Keep collections focused rather than dumping everything into one
